Summer so far...

So far, summer has been jam-packed full of fun!  We've hit up the water park a few times, the library for story time (and to see a real Barnum & Bailey clown!), Home Depot to build (and paint) a really cool storage box, the movie theater for Carter's VERY FIRST "big movie" experience (Madagascar 3 - Europe's Most Wanted), Chuck E. Cheese for Brayden's birthday party, spent some fun time with family and friends, and even took a trip to the Dallas Zoo!  Whew!!  It's been so awesome so far!  Next week is our family vacation to Galveston - can't wait!  :)  Here are some pics... I think they ended up most recent first...

Unreal - these lions are only 3 years old, weigh 450 pounds and are not even close to being done growing.  Wow!  C was yelling at them to wake up...go figure!

Trip to Houston...

Last weekend, we took a trip to Houston to see my family.  It was Tim's birthday, my Dad's birthday and Mother's Day weekend.  So what better of a time to go!  We had tons of fun seeing Gigi, Uncle Scotty, Pappy and Grandma.  On Saturday (while Tim and Uncle Scotty played golf), we went to Old McDonald's Farm with Gigi.  It was SO COOL!  There were all kinds of animals (as you can see below).  A really BIG, cool playground and a choo choo train!  We had a blast!!  (And although Carter loved feeding / petting the animals - and even riding his first pony!  He actually chased birds around the majority of the time we were there! Too funny..)

Amazing how the deer just roam around with everyone!  They were a bit aggressive at times!  They knew EXACTLY what those little brown bags were holding - and they weren't scared to go right after them!!
